Forget white cubes — Berlin’s most exciting shows are happening below ground, quite literally.
From repurposed laundromats to smoky cellar raves doubling as pop-up galleries, a new generation of artists is reclaiming Neukölln’s underbelly. It’s gritty, chaotic, and refreshingly anti-commercial. We spoke to a few collectives turning mouldy walls into movement. Spoiler: there’s probably a fog machine involved.
